The Ministry of Agrarian Policy discussed Government support programs with Transcarpathian farmers

On April 26, representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy acquainted agricultural producers of Transcarpathia in detail with the state support programs during the next practical seminar. The event was supported by the Office of Reform Support (ODA) of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and the EU Project "Support to the implementation of agricultural and food policy", as part of a broad awareness campaign of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy in the regions on government support programs for farmers in 2018.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, ATS of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Ukrgosfond, banks, profile experts, heads of farms and cooperatives, agricultural producers.

Among the issues discussed at the seminar were - features of financial support for farms (UAH 1 billion), in particular, the program of cheaper loans (1.5 NBU discount rate), compensation for the cost of purchased seeds (80%), support for cooperation (reimbursement) 70% of the cost of equipment), compensation for advisory services (90%), partial reimbursement of the cost of Ukrainian equipment (40%).

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy also informed about the peculiarities of state support for animal husbandry (UAH 4 billion) and the reduction in the cost of purchasing machinery (25% compensated to agricultural enterprises).

Special attention was paid to the program for the development of horticulture, viticulture and hop growing. Thus, UAH 300 million has been allocated to restore support for Ukrainian horticulture. In order to receive 80% compensation for the purchase of planting material of fruit and berry crops, grapes and hops of both Ukrainian and foreign selection, farmers need:

1. Submit to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy in electronic or paper form an application in the form established by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy for inclusion in the list of applicants for state support.

2. To submit to the formed regional (in case of its absence regional) commission necessary documents http://minagro.gov.ua/uk/support_apk?tid_hierachy=1396.

3. Receive funds of state financial support to the bank account after the promulgation of the relevant order of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
